89 SCRI Brand Identity Guidelines 3.0 2026 Table of Contents Text used in motion graphics largely follows the same rules outlined for text in video, with some additional considerations. Ideally, text should be integrated into the motion of the graphics. This approach creates a stronger connection between the visual elements and the messaging, making the composition more dynamic and helping emphasize key words. It also enhances the overall storytelling. Avoid placing text at the bottom of the screen, as it may be covered by captions or video progress bar.. In motion graphics, where text may take up a larger amount of space than video, text size should generally be 48 pt. for horizontal and 55 pt. for vertical orientations. Text size may be adjusted for emphasis or to benefit storytelling. Text Animation Motion 6.2 Text revealed by graphics, centered on screen Text incorporated into graphics, centered on screen
