86 SCRI Brand Identity Guidelines 3.0 2026 Table of Contents Motion 6.2 The Beam is the core element that shapes the SCRI visual language, and should be utilized often in motion graphics. The Beam symbolizes forward progress and is shown through its movement across the screen. It must always move left to right or bottom to top. This allows the Beam to communicate of sense of advancement. There are exceptions in certain applications where the Beam may move right to left or top to bottom—such as when it replaces an object or represents a different abstract idea. These exceptions apply only when the Beam remains within the frame. The Beam Representational Treatment | May move right to left Describing a Concept | May move right to left, enters the screen but does not exit Transitional Treatment | Must move left to right as it crosses the entire screen
